Sherco team has visit us recently in our facility of BMS Barcelona production plant, this plant is specialist in the production of technical fuel tanks for the motorbike and other components for the industrial OEM’s.

In this meeting where the founder and actual president, Marc Teissier, togheter with Victor Colomer -plant Manager-, have enjoyed the tour visit through our innovative áreas togheter with the managing part and technical staff from BMS, being able to see in direct, the all new design for the innovative production of the fuel tanks and discover the ultimate tests available in BMS as the ‘Helium Leak Test’, a control quality system , based in helium, that permit to detect leaks with a very high percentage of detection. BMS is actually producing SHERCO fuel tanks for the trial bikes, and we hope that with this visit, we can include other possible tanks into our production.

ABOUT BMS Barcelona plant
Blow Molding System has a production plant in Caldes de Montbui (BCN), where they have the specific designed cells for the fuel tank components for the motorbikes. Fuel tanks, with a high technical designs. BMS produce and industrialize “ hand to hand” with the implicated teams of each customer as a Tier 1, supplying components to the premium brands of this sector such as Aprilia, BMW, KTM or PIAGGIO. BMS is considered as the máximum specialist in fuel motorcycle tanks with own technology, and also has a very extense knowledge of more than 40 years of innovation in this sector.
